Product Development Manager
About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking Product Development Manager with a strong technical backbone—a true technical wiz—to lead the charge in building innovative, scalable, and user-centric products. You’ll be the bridge between visionary ideas and technical execution, guiding cross-functional teams from concept to launch and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Product Development: Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle—from ideation, prototyping, and MVPs to full-scale launches and iterations.Ability to use hand and power tools
- Technical Strategy: Collaborate with engineering to define technical requirements, architecture, and feasibility of new features and products.

What You Bring

- Experience with tools like Jira, Figma, GitHub, and analytics platforms.

IT Technician
About the Role
American Ecotech is seeking a motivated and technically proficient IT Technician to join our Information Technology team. Based at our Warren, RI headquarters, the IT Technician will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining hardware and software systems, and supporting our internal users across multiple locations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide timely and effective technical support to employees via phone, email, or in person
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot issues related to workstations, printers, mobile devices, and basic networking
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including device provisioning and account setup
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track IT assets
• Assist in maintaining network and server infrastructure under the direction of senior IT staff
• Document technical procedures, resolutions, and support requests
• Ensure all work adheres to IT policies and security standards
Qualification
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• One to three years of hands-on experience in an IT support or technician role
• Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking principles
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are preferred

Air Monitoring System Environmental Technician
The Air Monitoring System Environmental Technician plays an integral part of American Ecotech’s overall operations. This ideal candidate possesses skillsets and experience as an electrical, electronic, instrumentation technician or engineer with solid mechanical skills. This individual will provide service and maintenance of various advanced air pollution monitoring instrumentation systems. They will be exposed to a variety of different measurement technologies and must be comfortable working with electronics and calibration equipment. This individual will also have knowledge of data logging equipment and methods, along with communications media systems (wired and wireless) (modems & RS232 links). This is not a supervisory position.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of gas analyzers and analytical instrumentation in ambient and continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS) at customer facilities or in the office.
- Use various testing equipment such as multi-meters, flow meters, and other electronic testing equipment in order to calibrate and troubleshoot issues with gas analyzers, dust monitors and meteorological equipment.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Conduct customer training.
- Prepare written field service reports, maintain logs and required documentation of repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Other allotted duties as needed.
Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience of 1 to 3 years as a field service technician, instrumentation technician, and/ or, demonstration of general electrical/mechanical competency.
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Knowledge of the environmental compliance requirements a plus.
- Previous work-related experience or a strong electrical or electronics background.
- Instrumentation background or suitable mechanical & electrical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret written work instructions and technical manuals.
- Strong electrical knowledge, including ability to read and understand wiring diagrams – single phase, three phase, AC and DC.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Precise, accurate, and diligent record keeping skills
- Ability to travel on a regular or short-term basis and be on call for emergencies, as required.
- Team orientated.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs.

Electrical Engineer
American Ecotech is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and integrate electrical systems that power our environmental monitoring instruments. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working on diverse projects that combine electronics, sensors, and data systems to deliver precise, reliable environmental measurements. You’ll collaborate closely with mechanical and software engineers to bring new technologies from concept to deployment while supporting and enhancing existing product lines.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits, PCB layouts, and wiring harnesses for air quality and emissions monitoring systems
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, BOMs, and related documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical, mechanical, and software systems
• Perform prototype testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic assemblies
• Ensure designs comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards (FCC, CE, UL, etc.)
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and external partners on electrical systems and instrumentation
• Research and evaluate components and technologies for performance, reliability, and cost optimization
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing product designs and engineering practices
Must-Have Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Proficiency in PCB design software
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, signal conditioning, and power systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a hands-on approach to problem solving
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams
Desirable Skills
• Experience with microcontrollers, data acquisition systems, and embedded electronics
• Familiarity with instrumentation interfaces such as RS-232, RS-485, Modbus, and Ethernet
• Experience in scientific air pollutant monitoring instrumentation or sensor integration
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI testing and compliance procedures
